Public Notice of the Environmental Impact Assessment for the Technological Upgrade Project of a 2,500-Ton-Per-Year Brazing Materials Production Line

2020-01-02

Chains are typically made of metal links or ring-shaped components and are widely used for mechanical power transmission and traction. They can also serve as barriers to control access to transportation routes—such as in streets, at river crossings, or at harbor entrances—and as drive chains in machinery. Today, industrial chains are employed in numerous applications across construction equipment, enabling machines to operate more smoothly and with greater flexibility. Below, we recommend several reputable industrial-chain brands for your consideration.
Public Notice of the Environmental Impact Assessment for the Technological Upgrade Project of a 2,500-Ton-Per-Year Brazing Materials Production Line

The technical renovation project for the 2,500-ton-per-year brazing materials production line of Jinhua Shuanghuan Brazing Materials Co., Ltd. is currently undergoing an environmental impact assessment. The relevant details are hereby made public as follows:

  I. Basic Information on the Construction Project

  1. Project Name: Technical Renovation Project for the 2,500-ton-per-year Brazing Materials Production Line of Jinhua Shuanghuan Brazing Materials Co., Ltd.

  2. Project Scale: The total investment for the project is RMB 5.7 million. The company plans to add two medium-frequency furnaces (150 kg each) for silver-based brazing materials within the existing factory premises, upgrade the four existing medium-frequency furnaces for copper-based brazing materials (increasing their capacity to 250 kg), and procure several additional machining facilities. Upon completion, the project is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 1,500 tonnes of copper-based brazing materials and 1,000 tonnes of silver-based brazing materials.

  3. Construction Site: Within the premises of the company’s existing factory at No. 199, Shangzhang Section of Provincial Highway 315, Luobu Town, Jinhua Economic and Technological Development Zone.

II. Current Production Projects and Environmental Protection Status of the Company

Jinhua Shuanghuan Brazing Materials Co., Ltd. was established in 2001 with a registered capital of RMB 3.5 million. The company is currently located at No. 199, Shangzhang Section of Provincial Highway 315, Luobu Town, Jinhua Economic and Technological Development Zone, and employs more than 50 staff members.

In July 2010, the enterprise’s Environmental Impact Report Form for the Project to Construct a 400-ton-per-year Brazing Materials Production Line at Jinhua Shuanghuan Brazing Materials Co., Ltd. was approved by the Wucheng Sub-bureau of the Jinhua Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, with approval document number Jinwu Huan [2010] No. 95. On October 19, 2016, the project passed the acceptance inspection conducted by the Jinhua Economic and Technological Development Zone Sub-bureau of the Jinhua Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, with acceptance document number Jinhuankai Yan [2016] No. 30.

The primary wastewater originates from pickling and rinsing processes. After treatment at the wastewater treatment station, the effluent is conveyed to the development zone’s municipal sewage network and subsequently sent to the Jinhua Jinxi Haiyuan Wastewater Treatment Plant for further treatment before being discharged into the Qu River.

The primary gaseous emissions originate from processes such as smelting, machining, and acid pickling. Smelting fumes are collected by hoods and then treated with high-temperature bag filters before being discharged at a height of 15 meters. Sulfuric acid mist is emitted in a diffuse manner due to enhanced ventilation within the workshop. Machining dust is captured by baghouse dust collectors and subsequently conveyed for high-altitude discharge outside the workshop.

III. Entity Responsible for Preparing the Environmental Impact Report

Jinhua Shuanghuan Brazing Materials Co., Ltd. has currently engaged Jinhua Huanke Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct the environmental impact assessment for this project.

IV. Online Link to the Public Opinion Form

In accordance with the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment (issued by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and effective January 1, 2019), during the preparation of the draft environmental impact report for public comment, members of the public may submit their views related to the environmental impact assessment to the project proponent. Essential Tips: How to Maintain Harvester Chains During the Off-Season?

Because chains accumulate a lot of dust during operation, they easily become coated with grease and grime, which can impair transmission; therefore, they should be cleaned regularly. First wash them thoroughly in gasoline, then soak and boil them in engine oil for about 30 minutes. After removing them, allow the excess oil to drip off before use. At the end of each season’s work, the chain should be removed, soaked and boiled in oil, then coated with grease, wrapped up, and stored in a dry place. The sprockets should be wiped clean with gasoline or diesel and then coated with grease to prevent rust. When installing the chain, first wrap it around the sprocket, then insert the pins. Insert the pins from the inside out, so that the connecting plates and locking devices can be installed from the outside. The chain should also be neither too tight nor too loose—there should be a certain amount of slack to allow for smooth movement. When disassembling, you can
