Jinhua Shuanghuan Brazing Materials Co., Ltd. has always held the view that “science and technology are the primary productive forces, and innovation is the inexhaustible driving force behind enterprise development.” In December 2009, the company established a comprehensive industry–university–research technical cooperation partnership with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and subsequently founded the Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, Shuanghuan Brazing Materials R&D Center. This R&D center is an enterprise research institution that integrates five core functions: research and development of new products, new processes, and new materials; policy advisory services for corporate technological innovation strategies and technology development strategies; the establishment of a corporate technological innovation system; promotion of industry–university–research collaboration and external cooperation and exchange; and training of talent in corporate technological innovation.
The Technology Center currently boasts approximately 900 square meters of office and laboratory space, underpinned by robust R&D capabilities. It is staffed with a fully qualified team of technical personnel and equipped with a comprehensive array of testing instruments and equipment. The center employs about 18 technical professionals, all holding at least an associate’s degree. All inspection personnel have undergone specialized training and are certified to perform their duties. The facility is outfitted with more than ten sets of various testing and inspection instruments, supported by well-established management systems that enable the thorough examination of brazing materials. In addition, the center subscribes to a range of specialized academic journals, engages in frequent academic exchanges, and leverages the internet to swiftly and conveniently gather relevant information from diverse sources, thereby providing a solid platform for advancing technical work. Since the establishment of the R&D Center, the company has filed multiple patent applications, four of which have been granted, and has undertaken numerous research projects, including the National Innovation Fund for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, the Zhejiang Provincial New Product Trial Production Program, and the Jinhua Municipal Key Industrial Science and Technology Research Program.
Going forward, the company will remain firmly market-oriented, continuously strengthen the development of its Technology Center, fully leverage its functions and capabilities, and intensify efforts to develop new products, new technologies, and new processes. By launching innovative products to expand market reach, the company will establish and refine a robust marketing network, enhance its market share within the industry, and focus on advancing technological progress and elevating the overall competence of its workforce. Through these initiatives, the company will continually improve its new-product development and technological innovation, thereby delivering safer, more reliable, and high-quality products to customers both domestically and internationally.
